April 2022
Last year I vowed to streamline my art supply purchasing and use what I already had. I started this year with assessing what I was creating, trying some new ideas and taking the time to be thoughtful and deliberate with my work.
Now I am hit with the realization of living here for 20 years that I truly have more than I need…more art supplies, more vintage materials, more found objects, more, more, ad infinitum more! When we moved to our present home, it was from a tiny bungalow to this two story Victorian with a full basement and a space for my workshop studio next door. Indeed, the rule that the contents of one’s house expands to the limits of the structure absolutely applies here. I know that I could procrastinate about downsizing but I feel that I’m on a roll, so best to take that initiative. As it says above…if not now, when…
And so I am having a Colossal Clearance Sale here at my workshop studio in Everett and I invite everyone to attend! There’s going to be plenty of goodies and truly bargain pricing…here’s how its going to work…
Once you arrive at the sale, you will be given a large size grocery bag. You can stuff the bag with whatever you want from the entire studio of goods I will have for sale. When you’re done, check out will be super easy…a full bag is $10, a half bag or less is $5. Anything that doesn’t fit in a bag (such as display pieces, chairs, artwork) will be $5 each. Cash only sales please.
As the montage above indicates, there will be plenty of books, vintage, found objects, fabric, rusty metal, art supplies, paper, wallpaper, ephemera and even more ephemera.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at amy@studiofourcorners.com Unfortunately I will not be doing any online sales nor shipping. I hope that I see you on the 23rd!
