Here I am…didn’t think I would be gone so long…moving is not for the faint hearted, especially if you have been in one place for twenty years.
And not enough credit is given to routine…I know, it often can lead to being in a rut…and changing up one’s routine can lead to new discoveries, eye opening insights and creative opportunities…but when every single thing is new and different - from the mundane of organizing the kitchen to the determining which route to get to the grocery store, I am craving a bit of routine.
Though I have had little chance to unpack my art stuff and to set up my space so that I can begin creating once again, I have re-opened my Etsy shop with prints, postcards, Artist Tote Bags and a few original collage assemblages…as well as my 2024 calendar, a year of inspiration.
Yes, I did manage to squeeze in some time to get the calendar designed and printed - I know that it’s been popular with many of you to give as a gift and keep one for yourself.
This is a limited print run so once they are sold out, that’s it! All the details are here and you can purchase them at my Etsy shop.
I am positive that I’ll be able to get my art space organized, tackle the mountains of boxes that I put into storage, and begin exploring some new ideas I have for compositions…it just takes a bit of time, a healthy amount of enthusiasm and confidence that everyday habits will soon be routine.
