I always thought that it would be so wonderful to enjoy April in Paris…but so far it has never happened…Paris in September was nice but doesn’t have the same panache to it.
So instead, why not explore nearby surroundings…a quick round-up here of local events…I know this won’t apply to all but I encourage you to get out in your own community, and enjoy local art - a museum you’ve never explored, a walk thru a botanical park, checking out classes at the local collage or art center - there’s probably more creative opportunities around and available than you think!
I will be a vendor at this upcoming event…yes, there is still more stuff for me to purge! I’ll have some vintage décor - ironstone, linens, framed Paris postcards as well as art supplies and mini art journals. This is located downtown Burlington and there will also be a Book Sale happening at the Public Library and a Kid’s Flea Market - so something for everyone! Get more details here at their FB page
I’m offering another creative workshop - Artist Amulets. Using a combination of fabric and ribbon, buttons and wire, metal tins and bottlecaps, you will make your own Amulet, which can be a brooch or a pendant, honoring whatever attribute is your accomplishment - because doesn’t everyone deserve a high five and a bit of praise! I’ll provide all the materials and tools that you will need. The workshop will be held in Everett where I live - additional information and registration can be found HERE.
And for inspiration on the go…I have new designs of mini journals just listed in my Etsy shop…find them HERE.
I leave you with one final vignette of Paris…because one can always dream about April in Paris…
